Making Ireland Fairer
Protected structures
Enforcing Existing Legislation Properly
Recently in helping some residents prepare a submission on a planning application concerning a building on Dublin City Council's Record of Protected Structures, I uncovered a ruse by the applicant through which it appeared that they hoped to evade the responsibilities imposed on them by the legislation governing protected structures. Unfortunately, Dublin City Council planners fell for the ruse. Happily the residents have appealed the decision to An Bord Pleanála using the planning submission I drafted for them.
